"David's Company has carried out a wide range of internal and external house maintenance and repair work for me, ranging from urgent and essential flood prevention work in my garden (design and delivery of a ditch, drainage and new paving), through to roof repair and replacement guttering.

He has also installed a new waste system in the kitchen, serviced two toilets, overhauled and cleaned the central heating system, thereby maximising boiler and radiator efficiency. He is currently redecorating the top floor rooms in my home and there are plans to install Velux windows in the roof (June 2025).

With 32 years’ practice as a skilled tradesman, David has a wealth of experience in house maintenance and has excellent communication skills. He is able to cover every aspect of property maintenance and his company is sure to address all your needs. A true “one-stop shop” for all my home maintenance issues, though he is honest enough to acknowledge when his expertise is being stretched (I am still on the lookout for a dishwasher engineer!).

The Awards, jointly organised by Inside Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing, recognise outstanding individuals and teams who make housing great. The ceremony was held in Manchester on Monday, 24 June at Housing 2019.
